Welcome to Cotswold
The Cotswold neighborhood was developed in the mid-20th century and features the clean lines and architecture typical of that period. Located southeast of downtown Charlotte, the Cotswold neighborhood has all the amenities of a suburban area with close proximity to all the urban amenities of Charlotte itself. The neighborhood is also adjacent to beautiful historic old neighborhoods like Myers Park but without the hefty price tag of homes in those areas.
What to Love
● A family-friendly and close community

Local Lifestyle
Cotswold is an active and friendly community with many families with children living in the area. The community has tons of gatherings and social events for getting together with neighbors. Although Cotswold has large trees and lots of established neighborhoods it is also an up-and-coming area and is growing in size and popularity.
Dining, Entertainment & Shopping
Cotswold is home to one of Charlotte’s first suburban shopping malls, the Cotswold Mall, which may be where the Cotswold neighborhood got its name. The mall has over 35 retail locations onsite and offers national brands alongside locally-owned shops and restaurants.
Arguably the best pizza in Charlotte can be found right here in Cotswold at local favorite,
The Pizza Peel and Tap Room. This family-friendly restaurant offers pizza, wings, tacos, and a delectable slate of desserts.
For fresh-made bagels to start your day off right you must check out
Poppy’s Bagels and more! Along with their exceptional fresh bagel sandwiches, Poppy’s offers homemade soups and salads. Started by a New York native who transplanted to Charlotte, Poppy’s bagels are authentic and delicious.
For an authentic taste of Italy stop in for gnocchi or homemade meatballs at
Mezzanotte. The restaurant has been beautifully renovated and the food is top-notch. Whether you are looking for a date night or just a lovely place for a family get-together Mezzanotte is a wonderful place to share a plate.
Things to Do
Cotswold is located in close proximity to the larger Charlotte area and offers access to all that Charlotte has to offer. One of Charlotte's favorite attractions is the
Discovery Place Science, a hands-on science museum with changing interactive exhibits alongside a huge Imax Dome theater. This kid-friendly museum offers educational programs for the family and hosts summer camps and birthday parties as well.
Located in nearby Myers Park, the
Discovery Place Nature is another museum that highlights the natural world to inspire and educate people of all ages, but especially children. Kids will be thrilled to meet a resident animal ambassador or explore Fort Wild, an outdoor exhibit that encourages imaginative play in a natural environment.
Another Charlotte option your kids will love is
Carowinds, Carolina's premier amusement park. The park is filled with 60 amazing rides, a waterpark, live entertainment, and Camp Snoopy, 12-acre interactive kids play area.
Fun for the whole family is the
NASCAR Hall of Fame, a high-tech museum and entertainment facility designed to illuminate and honor the history of NASCAR. The facility showcases artifacts, exhibits, and the Hall of Honor along with a state-of-the-art theater.
